Publishing

Albuq Travel

Learn how to prepare for a career in the fields of graphic design and computer graphics. Students learn how to use professional level software, hardware and peripherals, and to apply the principles of design, typography, and color theory to the creation of effective print and electronic-based visual communications.

Is this a career for you? Publishing requires a combination of art and design, production planning, marketing and visualization skills. Professional designers can work in design studios or freelance but every graphic designer must have a basic understanding of all aspects of a project. No prior experience is necessary to begin the program, but good art skills are a benefit. Be prepared to learn the basics of design, drawing, page layout, basic web page design and production.

What you will learn? Understanding and working in a graphic design publishing setting.

Software you will use: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Fireworks, and Prepress software.
